One youngster was killed and another was critically injured in a shooting at a high school homecoming football game, and the shooter is still at large.

When a gunshot happened during McLain High School’s homecoming football game versus Miami High School in front of a large crowd shortly before 10 o’clock in the evening, the Tulsa Police Department was informed.
When the police came, they discovered two adolescent victims who had been shot. At the scene of the incident, a male teenager was identified as the deceased. According to a statement from the Tulsa Police Department, the second 17-year-old girl was rushed to a nearby hospital almost afterwards and was initially listed in critical condition. She has now improved to stable condition.
The Tulsa Police Department said that dozens of police had gathered in the vicinity to help with crowd control and search for the perpetrator. “We believe the culprit fled on foot, so our K-9 unit and a number of police searched the surrounding communities. Sadly, the route was abandoned.
According to reports, the shooting took place away from the homecoming game, close to the high school’s tennis courts.
The suspect is still at large, according to the police, and is thought to be armed and dangerous. Police said the only description they currently have of the suspected shooter is that he is a Black male 17-year-old.
Following the shooting, Capt. Richard Meulenberg of the Tulsa Police Department stated that there had been four killings in Tulsa on Friday alone. He also said that although officials are in possession of surveillance camera footage of the incident, they are still unsure whether any of the victims were McLain High School students.
The Tulsa Police Department stated that “homicide investigators are aggressively pursuing this case.” “We hope that some of the many individuals here will speak forward and assist with our probe.”
