A French bulldog that was kidnapped from San Lorenzo over two weeks ago has been returned to its owners, and two accused dog-kidnappers have been apprehended after being found in southeast Arizona, according to the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office.
$10,000 French bulldog Bruno, age 1, managed to escape the home on September 2 and was stolen by the suspects, who were later identified as Uriah Byrd, 40, of San Francisco, and Saveya Maybury, 22, of Lewisville, Texas, according to the authorities.
The judge temporarily overturns Ohio’s restriction on six-week abortions
Following the overthrow of Roe v. Wade, a judge on Wednesday temporarily suspended Ohio’s restriction on abortions beyond six weeks of pregnancy, giving abortion providers a rare legal triumph over the contentious medical procedure.
Medical personnel are now free to start performing abortions in accordance with the state’s previous statute, which allowed for the practise up to 22 weeks of pregnancy. Abortion providers have asked the court to make the ban a preliminary injunction amid ongoing litigation over the bill, also known as Senate Bill 23, even though the order is in place for at least the next 14 days.

Andrew Cuomo, a former governor of New York, filed a state ethics complaint on Wednesday, alleging that Letitia James, the state’s attorney general, purposefully handled an investigation into his sexual harassment of several state employees incorrectly.
Mr. Cuomo, who hails from a political dynasty in New York, resigned in disgrace as governor just before the investigation’s findings were made public. Ms. James’ inquiry revealed that Mr. Cuomo had unlawfully retaliated against one former staffer, Lindsey Boylen, for making an accusation against him. He had also sexually assaulted 11 women while governor.
