The early Sunday shooting at the LIT Cigar & Martini Lounge at 908 N Franklin St. prompted the Tampa Police Department to issue a public appeal for assistance in locating and apprehending the culprit or suspects.

According to early evidence, a confrontation between two groups of individuals inside the club is what caused the shooting to break out just before 3 a.m., according to police chief Mary O’Connor.

When the police came, they discovered one guy had died. According to officials, four more males and two women were discovered to have gunshot wounds and were sent to nearby hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
